Dunn Writes Well
Hello! I am an author who calls himself a boomer who is a late bloomer to writing and loving it! Join me on my writing journey as I launch my first novel Mall Child in 2023. Stay tuned for the subsequent release of my memoir titled Exit Interview: A memoir of Family, Friends & Acquaintances.
I bake into my writings and my blogs over 30 years of working in city halls, public housing, non-profits and over 15 years working weekends as a mall cop. No shortage of stories and insights that I love to share as someone slogging in the trenches of life.
I’ve been known to have several nicknames during my long, eventfull life. My most recent and dominant nicknames are the following: “Eulogy Guy” since I enjoy writing one page sentimental, inspriational limricks for graduations, retirements, birthdays and last but not least…funerals. I’m also known as “The Turtle” since I plod through work and life in a very systematic way by exercising every day and tackling projects one step at a time. In sum, I’m a work horse not a show horse. My kids make fun of my turtle appearance and my no-frills minimalist lifestyle but I promptly remind them that it was the turtle not the hare that won the race!
